Facebook Reunites

Facebook reunites twins separated at birth! Anais Broider and Samantha Futerman were adopted by two different families one lived in Paris and another in The United States. on February 21, 2013 Samantha got a Facebook message from Anais basically saying that they were born the same day and both adopted in South Korea. these girls have many things alike such as their hair, they both hate cooked carrots, both have freckles, they like the same nail polish, and they have the same laugh. And people say Facebook is useless!

My Weekend

The long weekend was fun for me. On Thursday I slept in and once I woke up I watched T.V. for the rest of the day. On Friday my friends Lauren and Amy came over and I dyed my hair. On Thursday morning till about 6 P.M. I went to my aunt's house and we ate Chinese food. After we left my aunts house we went to my brother in law's sister's house for a while. On Saturday i basically did the same thing i did on Thursday I slept in and I watched T.V. On Sunday i went to work from 12:30 to 3:40 after work i went to Jessica's house and then we went to shake shack with Sabrina and Ally. That basically sums up my weekend i really enjoyed.

Web 2.0: Wiki Research

How can a wiki be used in a current class on your schedule (not this course)? Pick a class and be specific how the class could create and use a Wiki on a regular basis (tip: Use the Internet, here is a good source).
Wikis can be used for Biology class to make study guides with everyone in the class participating. Everyone can put what they each think will be on the test to get the perfect study guide.
What are the benefits of using a wiki in class
  • Everyone participates
  • Everyone can put what they think is correct
  • The teacher can edit it
How can we create a wiki in this class, what would we contribute to it and how would we utilize it on an on-going basis?
We can make a wiki about technology news. We can talk about how technology is changing and helping us.
What experience do you have using or creating wikis?
I have worked with wikis before in Web 2.0.
